Miguel Silva
Founder & Director
Miguel’s passion for Pilates is both evident and infectious. He teaches with high energy and a deep, passionate commitment to the method. With many years of experience, Miguel possesses extensive anatomical and physiological knowledge. However, what truly distinguishes him is his innate, intuitive understanding of each individual’s bodily needs. His keen observational skills are complemented by a friendly sense of humor, ensuring that every session is not only challenging and effective but also enjoyable.
Miguel’s approach involves pushing you to your limits, but always with kindness and a touch of laughter. His expertise and experience have been channeled into the creation of the Uno Pilates School, an educational institute where he shares his knowledge globally, certifying Pilates teachers from all over the world.
Dominique Bandi
Uno Pilates Teacher
Dominique’s journey into Pilates began following a back injury, where she quickly recognized the significant benefits the training had on her body. In 2014, she embarked on ‘The Pilates Standard’ training program at Pilatesfabrik Uster, completing it successfully a year later.
Her Pilates path took a new turn in 2017 when she met Miguel Silva from Uno Pilates School. This encounter inspired her to enroll in the Intensive Teacher Training Programme. Following her passion, Dominique co-founded the Uno Pilates Studio in Zurich.
As a teacher, Dominique is known for her dedication, focus, and empathy. She brings these qualities to every class, creating a supportive and effective learning environment for her students.
